(1) Promote the improvement of management system by green operation

Effectively promote the ISO14001 environmental management system and 6S management system, organize the departments to participate in the management system standard training for many times, complete 113 improvement points, the production base has passed the external audit of the management system for 3 consecutive years, which creates a clean and tidy workplace for Gokin Solar people.

• Energy Management

Continuously optimize the company's energy management system, formulate a number of energy management rules and regulations, organize the three bases to carry out ISO50001 energy management system certification, and implement full participation in energy management.

(2) Building a sustainable industrial ecology with green manufacturing

• Reduce energy consumption

In the first half of 2023, the Company has carried out 78 energy-saving and consumption reduction projects, including energy-saving renovation and water-saving renovation. In August at Zhuhai Base, for example, it realized a year-on-year decrease of 19.3% in monthly electricity unit consumption and a year-on-year decrease of 44% in monthly water unit consumption.

• emission management

Wastewater Emission: System documents such as “Environmental Protection Operation Control Program” and “Safety and Environmental Protection Facilities and Equipment Control Program” have been formulated, and a wastewater testing program has been set up to ensure that wastewater emission is in full compliance with the requirements.

Waste gas emission: gas collection devices are set up to collect the waste gas uniformly, and the waste gas pipeline is introduced into the waste gas treatment facilities to ensure that the concentration of waste gas emission meets the national and local emission requirements. 2023, the company did not have any incident of waste gas exceeding the emission standards.

Solid Waste Emission: In strict accordance with the relevant regulations, the Company has prepared documents such as Solid Waste Management System and Solid Waste Inventory, and identified and classified harmless and reusable waste packages to promote recycling of eligible waste and reduce the landfill rate.

(3) Promoting clean energy with green products

Both 182mm and 210mm wafers have passed the ISO14067 carbon footprint certification, proving that Gokin Solar has effectively controlled the carbon footprint of the product manufacturing life cycle and is truly a “l(fā)ow-carbon wafer”.
