Shade & Hot Spot Resistance Technology


Gokin BC modules feature an innovative cell design that enables a built-in bypass diode-like function within the cells. When partial shading occurs, the system automatically bypasses the affected cells to optimize power generation. This technology significantly reduces power loss due to shading, while mitigating the effects of hot spots.

 

Gokin BC modules received the world’s first A+ shade resistance rating from TüV Rheinland, along with the highest Class A fire safety certification, providing dual safety assurance for reliable performance in complex installation environments.
